9th December             Carol Service                        6.30pm

 A service to start off the Christmas celebrations with traditional Christmas carols led by St.Philip’s choir. All are welcome to come and join in the festive spirit . Mince pies and mulled wine will be served at the end of the service.

16th December                Christmas Praise and Nativity           10.30

This a time to sing Advent and Christmas carols, followed by the children re-telling the Christmas story and acting it out. There will be a mince pie and a cuppa to enjoy.

We will be taking a collection for refugees in our area- nappies, wipes, hats, scarves

23rd  December             Christingle Celebration       4.00pm

This is a wonderful time for the whole family to have fun and welcome in Christmas together. During the celebration there will be modern and traditional carols, a retelling of the Christmas story and, of course, the lighting of the Christingles.

We will also be raising money for the invaluable work of the Children’s Society amongst the most vulnerable children and young people in society.

24th December             Crib Service                          4.00pm

A special interactive service, especially for children, which re-tells the Christmas story.

24th December            Christmas Communion       11.30pm

A traditional Christmas communion service to celebrate the birth of Jesus.

25th December  No service at St Philip’s but Rev Sarah will be leading a family service at St Paul’s, Penketh, in the Oaks, Stocks Lane,  where families are very welcome.                   10.30
